Trowell Parish Council has called an Extraordinary Meeting to consider Planning Application 26/00427/FUL, relating to the proposed construction of 60 dwellings together with associated access, landscaping, drainage infrastructure and associated works on land east of 256–280 Stapleford Road, Trowell.

In recognition of the significant public interest surrounding this application, the Council has published a Historical Background Report into the Proposed Transfer of Land at Field Farm alongside the meeting agenda.
The report has been prepared using the surviving documentary evidence held by the Council and provides historical background relating to the proposed transfer of the land. It has been published to provide context only and should not be interpreted as supporting or opposing the planning application.
Members of the public are encouraged to read the report before attending the meeting.
