Roadworks Notice – A6007 Trowell Road / Stapleford Road

Trowell Parish Council has been advised by Via East Midlands of upcoming highway maintenance works affecting the A6007 Trowell Road (Stapleford) and A6007 Stapleford Road (Trowell). These works form part of Nottinghamshire County Council’s annual road maintenance programme.

Works Taking Place

The works being undertaken are Preparation Patching for Surface Dressing.

During this phase, deteriorated sections of the carriageway will be repaired and prepared to ensure the road surface is ready for the later application of surface dressing. This preventative maintenance helps extend the life of the road and improve its condition.

Dates and Times

Wednesday 8 July to Sunday 12 July 2026

Working hours: 8.00pm – 6.00am each night.

Traffic Management

To allow the works to be carried out safely:

• Road closures will be in place on the affected sections of the A6007 during the working hours.
• Temporary parking restrictions will also apply along the route while works are being undertaken.

Diversion Route

A signed diversion will operate via:

• A609 Nottingham Road
• A6002 Coventry Lane
• A6007 Ilkeston Road

The diversion will operate in both directions.

Surface dressing is a weather-dependent process. If weather conditions are unsuitable, the programme may be amended and the dates changed.
