Trowell Parish Council Welcomes New Councillor and Announces Vacancy

Trowell Parish Council is pleased to confirm the appointment of Cllr Michelle Harvey as Chairman and Cllr Martin Follows as Vice Chairman for the 2026/2027 municipal year following the Annual Statutory Meeting held this week. The Council is also delighted to welcome Matt Chilton, who was unanimously co-opted onto the Parish Council. Following the resignation of a long-serving councillor earlier this year, and confirmation that no request for a by-election has been received, the Parish Council currently has a further councillor vacancy which will be filled by co-option in due course. Serving as a parish councillor is an opportunity to support the local community, help shape local decisions and become involved in matters affecting residents across the parish.
