There’s Lots Happening in Trowell!
There’s plenty happening in Trowell over the coming months, with a programme of community events taking us right through to Christmas.
Our regular Trowell Community Hub continues each month, alongside a Quiz Night at the Parish Hall in September. In November, the village will come together for the Remembrance Sunday service at St Helen’s Church, followed by tea and cake at the Parish Hall.
Later that month, we’ll be getting into the festive spirit with the Christmas Lights Switch-On and Christmas Market, before rounding off the year with a special Christmas edition of the Trowell Community Hub in December.
Full details of individual events will be published nearer the time, but the dates are now confirmed, so please add them to your diary.
Could You Lend a Hand?
Community events don’t happen by themselves. Behind each one are people giving their time to help with everything from setting up and serving refreshments to helping during the event and clearing away afterwards.
Trowell Parish Council is always pleased to hear from residents who would like to get involved and help us continue putting on events for the village.
Volunteering doesn’t have to mean making a regular commitment.
Perhaps you could spare an hour at one particular event. Maybe you would enjoy helping with refreshments, setting things up or welcoming people. You might have a particular skill you could offer, or perhaps you simply have a good idea for something you would like to see happening in Trowell.
However much or little time you can give, it all helps.
Our aim is not only to put on great events, but to bring people together and create opportunities for residents to be part of village life.
If you would like to help at an upcoming event, get involved in the future, or simply find out more about volunteering, please get in touch with Trowell Parish Council.
Great events. Stronger community. That’s Trowell.
