Celebrating Trowell’s Heritage
This year’s Summer Fete forms part of Trowell 75 – Celebrating 75 Years Together, marking the 75th anniversary of Trowell being recognised as The Festival Village during the 1951 Festival of Britain.
The Festival of Britain celebrated communities that demonstrated innovation, resilience and strong community spirit. Seventy-five years later, this special anniversary provides an opportunity to celebrate not only our unique heritage but also the people, organisations and volunteers who continue to make Trowell such a wonderful place to live.
We hope you’ll join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of entertainment, community spirit and celebration.
We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 11 July!
