Road Closure Bulletin – Surface Dressing Works (Updated Dates)
A brief note before we begin…
Some residents may have noticed a little “patchiness” in our recent roadworks bulletins.
The reason is a simple one – the Parish Clerk has recently been on annual leave. Like everyone else, we occasionally need to take a short break to recharge our batteries.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Trowell Parish Council remains committed to sharing road closure information affecting our village as soon as we receive it and are able to publish it.
Surface Dressing Works – Updated Dates
Via East Midlands has advised of revised dates for the planned surface dressing works affecting the following roads:
Roads affected
- A609 Ilkeston Road, Trowell (entire length)
- A609 Nottingham Road, Trowell (between A609 Ilkeston Road and Cossall Road)
- A6007 Trowell Road, Stapleford (entire length)
- A6007 Stapleford Road, Trowell (entire length)
Works schedule
Wednesday 9 September
- Road closure
- 7:00am – 7:00pm
Thursday 10 September
- Mobile works
- 7:00pm – 6:00am
Friday 11 September
- Mobile works
- 7:00pm – 6:00am
Saturday 12 September
- Road closure
- 7:00am – 7:00pm
The works are being carried out for surface dressing. Temporary parking restrictions will also be in place, and signed diversion routes will operate during the road closures.
