Planning Application 26/00427/FUL – Consultation Update

Following the Extraordinary Meeting of Trowell Parish Council held on 31 July 2026, the Parish Council contacted Broxtowe Borough Council regarding concerns that some residents living close to the application site had not received neighbour notification letters.

The Case Officer has confirmed that a site notice was displayed near the application site inviting comments until 13 August 2026. In addition, the Council has advised that representations may continue to be submitted up until the planning application is determined.

Residents who wish to comment on the application should submit their representations directly to Broxtowe Borough Council via the Planning Portal or by contacting the Borough Council’s Planning Department.

When making comments on a planning application, residents are encouraged to focus on material planning considerations, as these are the matters that the Local Planning Authority is able to take into account when determining an application.

Trowell Parish Council considered the application at its Extraordinary Meeting on 31 July 2026 and will be submitting its formal consultation response to Broxtowe Borough Council in accordance with the resolution agreed by Members.
