Emergency Road Closure – Stapleford Road, Trowell – Friday 14 August 2026
Nottinghamshire County Council has advised of an emergency road closure on Stapleford Road (service road), Trowell, to allow immediate carriageway repairs to be undertaken.
Location: Stapleford Road (service road), from its junction with Derbyshire Avenue in a south-easterly direction for approximately 20 metres.
Date: Friday 14 August 2026 Time: 8:45am – 3:30pm
Restrictions:
- Temporary prohibition of driving
- Temporary prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading on both sides
Diversion / alternative route: A6007 Stapleford Road and vice versa.
The works are being carried out by VIA East Midlands on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council.
Please follow the diversion signage in place and allow additional time for your journey.
