Competition Winner Announced for Maypole & Memories Celebration

Steve Middleton was the winner of the “Name the Beer and Badge” competition held as part of the Maypole Memories event celebrating the Festival of Britain in Trowell.

The winning design was selected by The Festival Inn, who kindly supplied the commemorative beer for the event. Steve’s winning badge design will now feature on the beer pump in the pub as part of the celebrations.

Steve will also receive a commemorative certificate in recognition of his winning entry.

Trowell Parish Council would like to thank The Festival Inn for their support, together with everyone who attended the event and took part in the competition, helping to make the day such a successful community celebration.
