Trowell Parish Council Publishes Formal Consultation Response

Trowell Parish Council has now submitted its formal consultation response to Broxtowe Borough Council regarding Planning Application 26/00427/FUL – Land East of 256–280 Stapleford Road, Trowell.

The consultation response reflects the resolution passed unanimously by the Council at its Extraordinary Meeting held on 31 July 2026 and sets out the material planning considerations that led the Council to object to the application.

The response was prepared following consideration of:

• the planning application and supporting documents;
• the Council’s Historical Background Report;
• the Clerk’s Report;
• written representations received from residents;
• comments made during the extended Public Forum; and
• Members’ discussion and debate during the meeting.
