Maypole & Memories – Saturday 16 May 2026

Trowell Parish Council is pleased to invite residents and visitors to attend the village’s “Maypole & Memories” community event on Saturday 16 May 2026, from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

Inspired by the spirit of the Festival of Britain, the event will celebrate community life, local heritage and traditional village activities. The day will include maypole dancing, Morris dancers, traditional games, a Teddy Bears’ Picnic, local history displays and the launch of the new Trowell Time Capsule.

Residents are encouraged to bring family and friends and enjoy a relaxed day of community celebration.

The Parish Council looks forward to welcoming everyone to this special event.
