Trowell Parish Council: Notice of Meeting & Communication Update.

Please find attached the official Notice and Agenda for the upcoming Annual Parish Meeting.

The Parish Council has made the decision to suspend the physical door-to-door delivery of the newsletter at this. This decision was not made lightly; however, it has become necessary due to ongoing harassment and unacceptable online behaviour directed at the Council.

Trowell Parish Council operates a Zero Tolerance policy towards any form of harassment against its staff and volunteer members. This behaviour has necessitated the diversion of Council resources toward legal advice and core statutory duties.

This suspension has also been made to protect residents from further unnecessary costs. The Council cannot justify spending public funds on discretionary tasks like newsletter delivery while resources must be prioritised for legal protection and administrative stability.

This measure will be reviewed once these issues have been resolved. In the meantime, all village updates and meeting notices will be published exclusively on the village noticeboards and our official website: www.trowell.org.uk and our social media pages Trowell Parish Council and Trowell Parish Hall.
