Trowell Parish Council D-Day Commemorations.

Councillors and residents came together to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, France.

We should all remember and never forget the selfless sacrifice and courage of all those involved. The Commemoration was to pay our tribute to those who gave so much to secure the freedom we all enjoy today.

The council members wish to thank everyone for attending, with a special thank you to Billie for playing the bagpipes, the British Legion and Karen for the moving reading.
