Roadworks Bulletin – M1 Resurfacing and White Lining Works (Junctions 23-30)

Residents are advised that National Highways are currently undertaking resurfacing and white lining works on the M1, affecting both northbound and southbound carriageways between junctions 23 and 30.

Working hours: Weekday nights, 9:00pm to 5:00am

To carry out the works safely, there will be a combination of lane and slip road closures during these times.

Service station closures:

• Tibshelf Services (southbound entry and exit slip roads) will be closed overnight on:
  • Thursday 7 May
  • Friday 8 May (9:00pm – 5:00am)
• Trowell Services (southbound entry and exit slip roads) will be closed overnight on:
  • Monday 18 May
  • Tuesday 19 May (9:00pm – 5:00am)

Emergency access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.

National Highways have advised that they will make every effort to minimise disruption; however, works may be subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
