Notice of Public Rights and Publication of Unaudited Annual Governance and Accountability Return
In accordance with the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 and the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, the Parish Council is required to make its unaudited Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) available for public inspection.
This notice is issued to inform residents and interested parties that the unaudited AGAR for the financial year ending 31 March 2025 has been completed and submitted to the external auditor. As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, members of the public have the right to inspect the accounting records and related documents during a designated period.
The purpose of this notice is to:
- Promote openness and transparency in local government finance.
- Allow residents to understand how public funds have been managed.
- Provide an opportunity for the public to raise questions or concerns with the appointed auditor.
