This week, Broxtowe Borough Council is celebrating a significant milestone as the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum marks its 50th anniversary.
Opened on 28 June 1976, the museum has spent the past fifty years preserving and sharing the life and legacy of one of Nottinghamshire’s most famous writers.
Whether you’ve visited before or are looking for somewhere new to explore, the museum offers a fascinating insight into the life of D.H. Lawrence and the history of the local area.
