Eastwood street gains splash of colour with new mural

Victoria Street in Eastwood has been transformed with the addition of a striking new mural depicting renowned author D.H. Lawrence, located just metres from his birthplace.

The artwork celebrates the life and legacy of one of Nottinghamshire’s most significant literary figures, while also enhancing the visual appeal of the area. The mural is expected to attract both residents and visitors, contributing to local pride and interest in Eastwood’s heritage.

The installation forms part of ongoing efforts to improve and enliven public spaces across the borough.
