Restoration of much-loved Brinsley Headstocks begins

Broxtowe Borough Council has announced that work is now underway to restore the much-loved Brinsley Headstocks.

Foundation preparations began this week (Monday 27 April 2026), with the Council investing £40,000 into this phase of the project. The restoration marks an important step in preserving this well-known mining landmark and an important part of the area’s heritage.
