UPDATED ROADWORKS BULLETIN – CHURCH LANE, COSSALL

Via East Midlands have issued an updated notice for the temporary road closure on Church Lane, Cossall, due to Cadent Gas mains replacement works.

Location of works:
Church Lane, from the junction with Coronation Road to the junction with Mill Lane.

Dates:
Extended closure now in place until 20:00 on Monday 22nd December 2025.

Restriction:
Temporary road closure.

Description of works:
Gas mains replacement by Cadent Gas.

Diversion route:
A609 Nottingham Road – A609 Ilkeston Road – A609 Nottingham Road (Ilkeston) – Chalons Way (Ilkeston) – Station Road (Ilkeston) – Coronation Road (Ilkeston/Cossall), and vice versa.
A diversion map is included in the bulletin.

Residents are encouraged to share this information with neighbours and local road users to help ensure everyone is aware of the extended closure.
