Grit Bins in Trowell – How to Report an Empty Bin

Trowell Parish Council is responsible for refilling the blue grit bins throughout the village. All bins were checked a few months ago; however, due to the recent poor weather, some bins may now be empty.

We have seen reports on social media, but please note that the most effective way to let us know about an empty grit bin is by contacting the Parish Office directly. Some councillors and the Clerk are unable to view all comments or posts on social media platforms.

If you find a grit bin that needs refilling, please contact us with the location of the bin, and the Clerk will arrange for it to be refilled.
