Making a FOI Request
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, you have the right to request information held by Trowell Parish Council,
- Requests must be in writing (by email or letter).
- Please include your name, contact address, and a clear description of the information you are seeking.
- We will normally respond within 20 working days.

Repeated or Vexatious Requests
The Council may refuse requests under Section 14(1) of the Freedom of Information Act where they are deemed to be vexatious, repeated, or part of a campaign of harassment.
This ensures Council resources are used effectively to serve the whole community.
