Council Update: Freedom of Information Matters

Further to the Council’s statement issued on 10 March 2026, Trowell Parish Council provides the following update. The Council has received confirmation from the Information Commissioner’s Office that a number of cases relating to Freedom of Information requests submitted to the Council have been closed, with no further action required. The Council will continue to manage correspondence and requests in accordance with its statutory obligations, whilst ensuring that its limited resources are used appropriately and that its governance and day-to-day administration can continue to be carried out effectively.
