Community Flower Display – Trowell Tower Re-Opening

As part of the restoration of Trowell Tower — made possible thanks to National Lottery players and the Heritage Fund — St Helen’s Church is inviting the community to help create a flower display to mark the tower’s re-opening.

Residents are encouraged to contribute handmade flowers which will form part of a celebratory display. Flowers may be knitted, crocheted, made from fabric, pipe cleaners or pompoms — all creative contributions are welcome.

Flowers are needed by the end of May and can be dropped off at St Helen’s Church on Sunday mornings or Wednesdays between 12pm and 2pm.

This initiative forms part of wider community activities taking place during this significant year for Trowell, and offers individuals, families, schools and local groups an opportunity to contribute to an important moment in the village’s history.

Trowell Parish Council is delighted to support this community-led project.
