Work Begins on Old Rock Pub as Broxtowe Leads Nationally on High Street Rental Auctions

We welcome the positive news that work has now begun on the long-vacant Old Rock pub in Stapleford, marking an important step in bringing the property back into use.

Broxtowe Borough Council is leading the way nationally through the High Street Rental Auctions (HSRA) initiative, helping to tackle empty properties and support the regeneration of local high streets. The project is funded by a grant from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

This investment represents a significant opportunity to revitalise the area, attract new businesses, and strengthen the local community.
