Trowell Parish Council has been notified of upcoming roadworks in Cossall, which—although outside the parish—are likely to affect residents due to increased traffic on surrounding routes.

Closure Details

• Road: Church Lane, Cossall

• Promoter: Cadent Gas

• Reason: Gas mains replacement

• From: Monday 13 October 2025, 07:00

• Until: Sunday 7 December 2025, 20:00 (revised end date)

Diversion Route

A signed diversion will be in place via:
A609 Nottingham Road ? A609 Ilkeston Road ? Chalons Way ? Station Road ? Coronation Road (Ilkeston/Cossall), and vice versa.
The map in the official bulletin shows the closed route in red and the diversion in blue.
