What’s On This Week at Trowell Parish Hall (Monday 3rd – Sunday 9th November)

There’s another busy week ahead at Trowell Parish Hall, with a great variety of classes, community groups, and events taking place. Everyone is welcome — whether you’d like to get active, meet new people, or simply enjoy some time in good company.


Monday 3 November

  • 10:00am – Tai Chi with Central England Co-op (Main Hall)
    A calm and mindful session focusing on balance, breathing and relaxation — suitable for all abilities.

  • 5:30pm – Private Booking (Main Hall & Meeting Room 1)

  • 6:00pm – WW with Lisa (Meeting Room 3)
    Weekly Weight Watchers group offering friendly support and guidance for healthy living.

  • 7:15pm – Private Booking (Main Hall)


Tuesday 4 November

  • 10:00am – Keep Fit for Over 70s with June (Main Hall)
    A fun, low-impact exercise class to help maintain mobility, flexibility and strength, with a warm and social atmosphere.

  • 2:30pm – Private Booking (Meeting Room 2)


Wednesday 5 November

  • 10:00am – Community Connect (Meeting Room 3)
    A friendly drop-in for local residents — come along for a cuppa, chat and the chance to meet others in the community.

  • 3:00pm, 5:00pm & 6:45pm – Slimming World with Debbie (Main Hall)
    Supportive group sessions focused on developing healthy eating habits and celebrating success together.


Thursday 6 November

  • 10:00am – Pilates with Amy G (Main Hall)
    A gentle class that helps improve posture, flexibility and core strength.

  • 11:30am – Strength & Balance with Amy G (Main Hall)
    Exercises designed to enhance stability and confidence — ideal for maintaining independence and wellbeing.

  • 5:00pm & 6:00pm – Karate with Burnett Academy (Main Hall)
    A structured martial arts class for all ages, encouraging discipline, confidence and physical fitness.

  • 7:00pm – Kickboxing with Burnett Academy (Main Hall)
    A high-energy workout combining fitness and self-defence in a friendly, inclusive environment.


Sunday 9 November – Remembrance Sunday

Following the Service at St Helen’s Church, everyone is warmly invited to the Parish Hall for drinks, biscuits and cake.
Join us as we come together as a community to remember and honour those who have served.
