Network Rail – Overnight Vegetation Management Works Near Trowell

Network Rail has advised that essential tree and vegetation management will take place on the railway near Trowell. These works are part of routine maintenance to keep the railway safe and reliable.

Work schedule (overnight only):

• Monday 1 September – Saturday 6 September 2025 (23:00 – 05:30 each night)

• Monday 13 October – Saturday 18 October 2025 (23:00 – 05:30 each night)

What to expect:

• Use of machinery such as chainsaws and wood chippers.

• Lighting in work areas for safety.

• Teams will work to minimise disruption where possible, but some noise is unavoidable.
