Nottinghamshire Footpaths Preservation Society

Please see letter from the Chairman of Nottinghamshire Footpaths Preservation Society.

Dear Members

I am writing to update you on various matters and to ask for assistance.

Alan Wilson has had to step down from his position as Secretary due to health issues (please do not try to contact him at the moment).  We all wish him a speedy return to full health.

This means that our committee is now stretched thinly.  Not only have we just lost our Secretary but we are still short of a Membership Secretary, and we also need assistance on the Notts Wolds Way Extension.  We have sorted out the routes from Clifton to Bunny and from Cropwell Butler to Bingham but need help in writing up the routes for the new booklet and deciding where route markers need to be placed.

We are therefore appealing for members to come forward and offer to help – either on the NWW extension or by joining the committee.  Please contact myself or any of the committee if you can help in any way.

Finally, we are always looking for members to lead walks!  Please contact Andrew or another committee member if you feel able to lead a walk now things are returning to normal covid-wise, as we need to plan the future walks programme.

Regards

Martyn Nall
